The Solar Tool comprises two main application work areas, one displaying the 3D model and the other shading effects overlaid on a Sun-Path Diagram. Whilst only the sun-path window contains the main menu, both contain control panels, view controls and model display areas.

Controlling the Layout

These two work areas can be laid out vertically, horizontally or as two completely separate windows with their own title bar and status area. This can be controlled in Settings Dialog.
