The Hourly Data Panel sits within the main application window and controls the graphical display and analysis of hourly weather data. You can open and/or close this panel by clicking in its title area. If you click on the status icon on the right-hand side, the panel will open/close without affecting any of the other panels around it.
Graphical Display
When this panel is selected, the main graphical display shows both an annual graph (top) and a detailed hourly chart for the selected day (bottom). Clicking and/or dragging the left mouse button in the annual graph will interactively change the currently selected day and update the hourly data.
Panel Controls
The following is a description of the items available in this control panel.
Selected Day
Use this slider to select the day of the year you wish to see shown in detail in the graph at the bottom of the main display.
Search Data For
The items in this menu search through the hourly weather data to find the day that most closely fits the selected criteria and sets the currently selected day.
Summary Data
Use these controls to select the weather parameter to display in the graph at the top of the maim display and the date range over which to generate the graph.
Thermal Comfort
When the Summary Data is set to Daily Average, this item toggles the display of the comfort band. You can choose the method by which this is calculated using the context menu in the main graphical display.
Monthly Averages
Toggles the display of lines of mean monthly minimum, maximum and average values for the selected weather parameter.
Edit Hourly Data...
This item invokes the Synthetic Hourly Data dialog.
Scale Data...
This item invokes the Scale Data dialog.
